In the quiet corners of small towns, God is doing extraordinary things through ordinary pastors with willing hearts.
When Pastor Steven Matthews accepted the call to his first church in the small town of Newberry, he quickly discovered that seminary never covered potluck politics, front-porch counseling, or sermons interrupted by tractors passing by.
Overwhelmed and uncertain, Steven found an unlikely mentor in Preacher Bill, an old country pastor whose downhome wisdom and colorful stories held lessons deeper than any textbook. Preacher Bill taught the young Pastor Steven what it truly means to shepherd a small-town flock.
Yet one question lingered: would he find his place, or lose his faith trying?
